The Communication Workshop
Three sessions for teams that want to work well together, especially when it's hard.
No pitch. If it isn't a fit, I'll tell you.
What stops a team is almost never the strategy.
It's what people aren't saying to each other: the colleague nobody really understands, the frustration that leaks out sideways, the conflict everyone steps around.
This workshop gives your team a shared way to see each other, talk to each other, and work through conflict without losing the relationship.
Who It's For: owners and managers who want their team working together, not just next to each other. Restaurants, small businesses, organizations, leadership teams.
The Three Sessions
Each one builds on the one before.
1. Team-Building
Everyone on your team carries more than others can see. This session helps people see the depth in each other, and builds the trust the rest of the workshop depends on.
2. Communication
Strong relationships run on communication, and strong relationships are what make an organization work. This session looks at what shapes the way we interact, and how to communicate in ways that build people up instead of wearing them down.
3. Constructive Conflict
Conflict is inevitable. Most of us were never taught how to turn it into something that makes a relationship stronger. This session gives your team tools for the conversations that feel hard to start, and a way to stay in them.
What your team leaves with.
Shared Guidelines
Guidelines for communication that the team agreed on itself.
A Common Language
A shared way to give feedback, on what people do and on who they are.
A Way Through Conflict
A way to start hard conversations, and an agreement to stay in them.
Start with an email.
Tell me about your team and what's going on. I'll ask a few questions, and I'll tell you honestly whether this is the right fit. No pitch.
Session length, in person or virtual, and price all depend on the size of your group. We'll work it out together.
